Jay Garrick was so concerned about the possibility of zoom making him better, the he lost his head. fortunately per degaton and the question brought their smarts to the table, and were able to show Zoom that evil is not better, not this time, while Jay ran around like a chicken with his head cut off, a super fast chicken.

As a ring carrying member of the green lantern corp, the sight of an arkillo across the table, was fear inducing, add to that the combination of a future batman in contact with bruce wayne, a totally slick GC detective and the dizzying count vertigo. But willpower, and in this case age since both jay and degaton were from WWII won out the day, as the team focused on arkillo while they held off the rest of the team in the dangerous junkyard.

The Circus was in town, so naturally Batman's Gotham city buddies chose a dark night to skulk through the deep shadows on their way to take out JSA leaders and Historical Natzi villains. fortunately Jay and company were able to hid in tent after tent, keeping on the move when they need to, or keeping hold up in a tent, but still the question was asked anarchy was wrought and the thought was kind. but in this battle age won out over change.

The battle was quickly engaged and broken into pieces, alpha flight and the celebrity team engaged, and the celebrities were at a distinct disadvantage and did not hold out long as Vindicator and iron man were able to pound powerman and iron fist and nightthrasher. Meanwhile the skrulls from the landing ship and the mutants got into it, and power man and iron fist turned out to be too much of an immortal weapon for strong guy and fabian to handle as they took out the mutants with only scarlet witch and the duo surviving. as the remnants of alpha flight and the skrull landers engaged and started to whilttle each other down, up come little dazzler from behind as she started to pick away at vindicator, and then almost took at scarlet witch until the witch finished her in the end.

The battle took place on the Battle Square map, the monsters started their march forward led by the mole man hiding in his rubble and commanding the troops. The psychics stayed behind biding their time, divining the actions of their opponents, the new warriors split their forces to create a two pronged attack against the monsters while taking opportunistic shots at the psychics. Psycho man took a position atop a downed truck to survey the field, and the new warriors resisted his attempts to control their emotoins.


then the monsters made their move, the moloids and moleman ganging up on night thrasher while morbius maneuvered around, and Zzzax nailed spiderwoman and the carnage began. Slowly moleman picked off the cuckoos while morbius was shattered by a mind controlled speedball, and psycho man spread hate through the battlefield.


Darkhawk regenerated several times to make the end battle, darkhwak, a hurt Zzzax and Psycho man, but there was just too much fear, hate and doubt as psycho man emotionally crippled his foes.

The Atlantean warriors finally swallowed their pride and recruited a little help to deal with the invading skrulls most powerful weapon the super Skrull illuminati. The atlanteans were fighting on home turf in the Harbor region, giving them an advantage on the battlefield but the skrull invaders put up a fight quickly nailing one atlantean warrior, but another used his advantage int he water to nail the super skrull, and the rest piled on. Raza missed a clean shot and was confused by his opponents shape shifting abilities and the atlantean warriors went down quickly, in the end Raza proved just shifty enough to give Attuma the opportunity to finish off the skrull

Skrull on skrull action, this sounds like adult only. With the invasion taking place all over the world, this civil battle occured on the grounds of doom's castle. Quickly the superskrull illuminati moved into position using his magiks on his defense. not to be outdone skrull sue, threw skrull hank at the group, and hank critically hit the skrull. as the battle moved on with some back and forth action, eventually Hank pym "slapped the superskrull like he was janet" with yet a second critical hit, this time using psychic blast. but the superskrull took hank out along the way.

Round one: Kersimus Vs. Hero_Guy

Through the mystical might of Dr. Stephen Strange, the combatants found themselves in the headquarters of a costumed super team, not unlike the Invaders. The skrull posing as Hank Pym drew first blood...ironically by striking Morbius. Dr. Strange used the magic of the Eye of Agamotto to eliminate the Punisher from the field. Morbius, angered by the attack was able to posses the skrull warrior and force it to attack Gravity. Morbius finally fell to the giant's heel, but not before Gravity was taken down. It eventually came down to Energizer versus the army, but even the little power pack member couldn't fight off the Sorceror Supreme. Kersimus Wins.

Round two: Kersimus Vs. Dave

Yet another team of combatants were brought to the HQ, also lead by a skrull posing as one of the Marvel Universe's heroes. After a game of cat and mouse positioning, The warrior within the skrull finally won as she attacked Dr. Strange. Fortunately, the Wards of Watoomb caused the alien to not only miss, but to damager herself in the process. Despite the indomidable spirit within the beast, Mrs. Marvel was no match for the combined attacks of Dr. Strange, Morbius, and Dr. Octopus. Thor Girl and Sharon Carter were able to pierce the magical defenses of Dr. Strange, but both fell to his sorcery, and Dr. Octopus's Science. Kersimus Wins.

Who knew that small children where the bane of the inhumans, as triton spend most of this game swinging wildly at mass master and missing. meanwhil Iron fist and Spider Girl spend this fight comparing Ninjaness to spidersensiness, the ninja wins for now, but it was a long drawn out debate. Meanwhile the magus was outwitted by a skrull that spend most of the game going from REALLY BIG one second to really tiny the next constantly outwitting. It was a back and forth battle with the team that got lucky at the right moment pulling it out in the end.

Here Fishy Fishy Fishy. this all fishy match proved a challenge for the crack shield squad as aquaman's telepathy and Tempest's mystical nature proved adept at making their compatriots a powerful team. Winter soldier got in a good headshot or two, to soften them up during the advance, but for the most part the team was able to zig when they needed to and zag when they needed to with only Spiderwoman needing emergency Evac.

Once again the evil of magic was threataning the world and shield cound themselves called to the rooftops to save the world. The mystical rag man moved out with the intention of harrasing winter soldier as the battle went on, but he got caught in a triangular crossfire and with some crack shooting from the winter soldier and the shield trained sniper, and Ragman was gone. Iron Man moved around to take a shot at Faust, who survived the blast and closed ranks with eclipso who railed on spider woman, but the battle was too costly, winter soldier was able to close and with the help of his allies were able to wear down the magical invaders.

This battle featured the Crack shield response team facing the Apokalitian ruler darkseid and his manservant cheif. Early on darksied eliminated the shield sniper to weaken the resistance of the team, while the agent and winter soldier maneuvered around the map to try and eliminate his manservant. in the end winter soldier got of a lucky headshot on darkseid, that hurt him badl enough for spiderwoman and iron man to finish him off.

Justice league Bank Map, no BFC's. Superman and friends moved into the vault, while the JSA took up positions in the stealth of the main counter just outsid eof his charge range. so aftera round of clearing, mano knocked down a wall, then lightning lad running shot another wall placeing rip in position for PC, and superman charged Dr. Midnite and Wildcat, wiping them off the map. Black adam and Hawkman then missed several breakaways and several hypertime rolls, giving the future team time to regroup. Superman then Charged black Adam and flurried him for 10 and ravage followed up for the finish. after that it was a matter of chasing down sandman for the win.

Ordinary day and Poor Teamwork in play, ordinary day cancelled. Galactus rooftops map.
The soldiers marched in formation from rooftop to rooftop trying to exploit their superior range to nail superman before he could get in range to start attacking them. The future team moved into position using the high defense of ravage and some hindering terrain to make the shots at least challenging. After a few missed shots and dawnstar sacrificing herself for the team, the future squad was able to move into position. With a few unsuccessful hypertime rolls (Fury and his sniper hussy were to intimidated to base supes, Hal and Fury were obliterated off the map. then after surviving numerous retaliatory shots superman was able to obliterate enough pieces to barely eke out the victory on points 288 - 233 close hard fought match.

Since there were only the three players at the event, the group decided to play a 4 way. The OMAC's one map choice and chose the happy harbor map, rapidly the cuckoos moved into position to start taking apart tyroman's team, and they went back and forth fighting with the blackhawks and Drake Burroughs. meanwhile apocalypse and the OMACS made their way onto the field slowly. eventually one fo the V OMACS was able to push to nail Monel for 5, and turn him into a stationary hitter. Eventually the OMACS were able to thwart apocalypse but at far too strong a cost to themselves as they were beaten down hard. With Hero_guy winning on points.

Poor teamwork and Inferno in play, the prison map.
The soldiers moved up in formation, a little slower then they would have liked, but never breaking ranks. Darkseids Minions moved up breaking down the walls in the prison to get to the sheild disruptor. After pushing Hal and positioning red tornado and some E HIVE the wall was down and darksied was safe. but deathstroke moved into position threw some yellow paint on Hal, Monarch pushed to nail him for 4, and uncle sam moved in to hit him for 4 more ending the green lantern's night. from that point on the hive troopers started pinging away at each other and tying up Darksied. monarch and the thunderer finished off the chief, while robin took out some HIVE and uncle sam took out the tornado and robin. Darksied took one good hit and time ran out. Entropy on points.

Both teams positioned around the anti matter cannon in the middle of the map, the soldiers got int he first strike the qwardian thunderer took a shot at deathstroke pinging him for one, then Monarch moved in for a strike and got a crit hit. The HIVE repositioned and Uncle Sam got a shot in on robin through the help of the poor and tired. next round Monarch and deathstroke took out karate kid, and the game went to the soldiers from there. uncle sam took a few hits, some HIVE and the thunderer went down but once again this mans army prevailed.

The game started with the HIVE knocking down a few walls through the use of enhancement. then the soldiers moved in formation into position. and the antimonitor slowly moved up. the soldiers took a hit from the pariah event dial, then the battle was on. Monarch hit the antimonitor for 4, uncle sam for two more. anti monitor hits monarch straight through for damage, and monarch pushes to try and retaliate before death, this turns out to be the key. after a little more damage puts him on his healing special power anti monito retaliates and inadvertantly kills monarch by one click and can not heal. the next turn the entire soldier team wails on him, killing him by one click before he can regenerate.

Entropy wins the night.

anti monitor was softened up by lead and tin, Green lantern and trickster and pied piper, ultimately being undone by too much perplex on the field some timely hits by mammoth and a flurry by mammoth to end the game.

The soldiers Chose to fight this battle in the prison to limit the Anti Monitor's maneuvering space and his range, but neglected to realize the effect his phasing would have on the positioning game. as the soldiers moved up into the central hallway, the anti monitor made his way to the back row through the walls, setting it up so only monarch could get an opening shot. he used all but one of his theme team PC's making that hit stick, and then the monitor made him pay with a retaiatory strike that took him past his own PC. Uncle sam moved into position with deathstroke, who was hit once by the monitor, while he started to wipe out some of the hive troopers. a few turns later, the flurry was on, some unbelieveable shots from enhanced hive troopers, followed up by an enhanced RCE shot from Monarch, then a clubbing by Uncle same using tired and poor to be sure it hits, and suddenly the Anti monitor was on his super senses clicks, and the soldiers were out of actions because uncle sam never rolled for leadership. the anti-monitor phased away and started healing while the soldiers repositioned in the hallway, eventually they got to him, but not before he had healed allmost back to the top. The battle was back on, but this time i was too much the Anti monitor methodically destroyed the soldiers to conquer the universe.

this game was governed by a quick strike on The Green Lantern. Kyle was able to TK an object wielding Wondergirl into a perplexed charge range and she flattened Hal quickly. from there it was an uphill battle, as wondergirl's high defense held, and the biggest challenge was some late game super senses dodging by trickseter and pied piper.

Amazo came out early and took a shot at the positioned Coundown team. but he missed, so Kyle TK'd donna out for a retaliatory strike, and she also missed. Tharok came out for a shot on the atom who moved to cover donna's back and he missed, then forerunner who came over to wail on tharok succesfully dodged a shot from amazo, from there the outwit and the Ion powered Kyle Rayner finished the day.

Spectre moved in behind the randomly appearing walls of camelot, and then repositioned just outside of the TK range of kyle so forerunner couldn't get in there with her exploit weakness. Donna Charged with the light gumball machine she had picked up and the spectre took it to his ghostly face, then the follow up attack was dodged by his ghostly essence, but after that he went down fast. Donna took 5 from the spectre, and forerunner was killed by black adam but the rest of the team was able to use outwit to keep black adam in check while they gave him the gang tackle.

Since there were two of us, we started off playing the game and as the doom patrol started to go dwon with cheif falling first, we realized that i had completely forgotten to roll for y manipulate tokens and so we called it a loss and started again. This game was played with the DC one million event dial, which is loads of fun, even more fun when you play it so that the outsiders team ability is able to negate the bonuses from the event dial,a totally illegal move. needless to say the doom patrol was able to pull this one out, but the positioning early on was key.

The Gotham city crew had time working against them as the zones on the board conspired to limit their hiding places. the monitor moved around the board hitting them one at a time, while harbinger moved him to where he was needed. Swarm on the other hand was too much to handle as he critically hit the monito off the roof. but rapidly moving pawns on the board nd the monitors high attack values whittle down the oponnent to batman, who proved to almost be a match for harbinger and the monitor as he hid and waited for his chances. but eventually even the prowess of the GD batman was not enough to overcome the near monitient monitor.

The Dark Lord vs. the Hero of the multiverse. In this battle the monitor was off his game, missing soem important opportunities and the mystics took out forrunner rather fast and left a badly hurt harbinger and monitor to fedn off the oponnent. Monior took out zatanna fast and then started really working over mordru whom he finished off, but the effort proved too much and klarion was able to finish the job.

Both the Scientists and the monitor moved up into position while foreruner chased down firestorm. Monitor got the first shot on flash, but he was able to dodge it. Tomar Re then moved the whole team away to regroup, but harbinger brouhgt the monitor in to chase them down. the monitor was able to hit tomar re, who then responded and the monito dodged it. the monitor then slowly whittle down the atom and tomar, while forerunner pasted firestorm. Eventually tomar, midnite, flash and the atom all fell, leaving firestorm to hit the group, which he did with an energy explosion and critical hit which finished forerunner and crippled harbinger. Then Firestorm crit hit monitor again as time ran out, but fortunately didn't kill him.

The JLA moved through the gates of atlantis while the enemy moved through the waters of kooey kooey kooey, Devil Dinosaur charged carter hall and missed and the battle was on, green lantern and green arrow took shots at devil dinosaur and missed, while speedy took a shot at green arrow and hit. Green arrow was then carreid around by zatanna, and carter hall started to nail devil dinosaur. Beore the dino went down to the combined effots of green lantern and carter hall, he made a quick meal of the elongated man. meanwhile beast went after green lantern and was hit with a green boxing glove to end his day and lead and tin and dazzler moved around the board trying to take apart the flash. eventually however the justice league came down on the oponnent and pulled out the victory losing only Carter hall and Elongated Man

In this chamionship matchup the metal men and the Justice League came head to head in an extremely even match. the JLA tried hard to pick off Iron before he could come in and paste one of them to death, but they failed and He was able to eliminate Green Lantern almost with one hit before the rest of the JLA was able to take him down. Meanwhile a wonded flash was running around only able to finish off the wounded, striking the killing blow to harbinger and iron, while mercury and lead and tin made short work of carter hall, after gold went down it became a back and forth battle of wills and the JLA was able to pull it out on points as time expired.

the Ladies moved up and adeline wilson tried to move in to hit dawnstar and missed, this unfortunately dawnstar pasted her in response, and the battle was on. very quickly it turned into a slugfest in the corner as liberty belle moved in and out with attacks, eventually it came down to supergirl and Kyle Rayner hitting each other and supergirl hit first and hard and the game was one. ladies night out wins against the boys.

Adeline wilson made her mark hitting karate kid fast and hard. then came the pain from Chuck Tain, he pushed to hit adeline then bounced off to go for gongorilla, whom he missed. Then the honor gaurd made their move, gongorilla moved to the laser turret and took a shot at rip hunter and missed. then guy moved to charge lightning lad to hit him off his 3 damage and couldn't base him because of the hypertime team ability. then Ion tried to hit karate kid to finish him off, and he critically missed. and there the game was over, the honor gaurd made all the right mvoes and every one failed.

The Secret Society played Armor wars on the Big Demon and ignored his ordinary day, so very quickly they took out shathra right after she killed captain cold and mirror master. Meanwhile trigon found his outwit ineffective and his dopplgangers easily outmaneuvered by trickster pied piper and gentleman ghost. i the end they took out the giant demon and won the day. .

The Camelot timezone turned out to be the deciding factor in this game. Superman moved out into the map in position to charge onto the building if necessary. Shathra moved out on square beind the edge so superman couldn't shoot her. superman pushed to charge her and critically missed. the next turn he took poison damage, he hit shathra back with his free attack, and at this point was only hitting for 4, this did not knock her of poison and so he took another click. then trigon hits him for one more, since RCE was ineffective. superman was now on HSS, he used leading the attack to kill shathra and the got into a maneuvering game with Trigon. superman had trouble rolling eights, and trigon made an impervious roll or two, but was able to do too much damage to superman too quickly until he fell at the hands of the demon.

Jericho ended up in position to possess superman, he succeeded and held him and the game was over.

superman moved up into position for a charge. Once again Shathra moved up to one square back from the endge of the camelot map, this time however trigon sat next to her superman moved up 10 squares away along the side in a position to shoot trigon. so trigon and shathra move to base supes. superman uses leading the attack against shathra and succeeds pushing shathra past poison. knowing shathra is dead she pushes to flurry with blades, she rolls a crit hit on the first one and rolls a 1, so supes takes one damage, trigon attacks and misses. supes attacks and misses trigon. Supes finishes off shathra and attacks trigon he succeeds but trigon makes imprevious. trigon then hit's supes for 5, and supes takes 3. supes hits trigon and takes one. trigon citically misses off his19, and supes runs to midnite for healing. midnite fails. trigon moves into position. midnite fails again. supes shoots trigon and misses, trigon shoots supes and hits for 3 striaght through with psychic blast. supes is dead. unbelieveable

Since it was just the two of us and the judge, we decided to play a 3 way game. The map was the starro happy harbor map, and Hero_guy placed the separation fied generator atop the crane. First turn the Justice league moved onto the crane with red tornado. with green arrow and green lantern's big range it became a maneuvering game as the wrecking crew and the crisis group moved slowly to try and find the best position. it was only much later on that we realized that hero_guy should not have been able to move his team onto the crane by carrying them because of the spearation field generator. Alex Lthor moved into the boxes on the dock, while psycho pirate went and basedthe wrecking crew to make best use of "I'm your best friend" again't thier close combat attacks. Atom moved out next to alex luthor and then pushed to hit him knocing him into the middle of his dial. luthor then phased away and was quickly killed by green lantern. Pyscho pirate then perplexed down the atom's defense and young superman pasted him with an object. meanwhile the wrecking crew moved into position taking hits along the way but never going down as the muddled theri way into the battle. Psycho pirate mind controlled thunderball who pasted red tornado, but not enough to kill him, as he was able to later drag vixen away for a huge full health regen. Green arrow separated himself from the pack and started running s around the board picking off the injured pushing his way to hail of arrows. Young superman got in one more good hit on hal, but it it wasn't enough, and in the end Henry camp put a soild fight against vixen and green arrow and green lanter, but went down to their combined might leaving tyroman as t winner

Entropy Vs. Hero_Guy

The rogues lined up to bring the pain to Hal Jordan and his green lantern recruits. Dr. Alchemy and Captain boomerang brought the pain for a swift surgical strike to take down hal in the face of his recruits. unfortunately the aim of his boomerangs was untrue and Hal moved citizen V over to use his martial arts prowess on captain boomerang in one deft move he hit him fast hard, and moved him out into the water so his allies could get a better shot at him. Abra Kadabra moved in and used his magical powers to take some shots at Hal and his various friends, hurting the blackhawk, but hal was able to maneuver his way around the battle field and eliminate the rogues fast enought that only citizen V was lost

PaxZrake Vs. Kersimus

The titans fought valiantly against this terible new god and his minions, Aqualad showing the world his power by being a nemesis to the new god, while Nitghtwing proved shifty for the whole battle. However the power of Darksied was too much for the young heroes, and he won the day as his minions kept the heroes occupied until he could use his power against them.

PaxZRake Vs. Entropy

The Green Lantern Corps has long wanted to remove the scourge to the universe that is Darksied, so this time Hal Jordan, the corps best, met him on the dawn of man battlefield with his recruits. Hal moved his troops into position and Darkseid countermoved, and Hal energy xploded the formation instantly reducing the number and effectiveness of darkseid's minions. But this left hal open to cunterattack, and darksied made it count, however with the strength of the power ring hal survived and moved his troops into position to counter attack. Attack after attack was missed by hal's troops and eventually darkseid stood in the face of the assault removing the troops one by one from the battlefield.

Nightwing then outsiders citizen V soe speedy could hit his face with a giant boxing glove arrow. Hal then moved in and started to pick off the teen titans, but nightwing remained hidden in the shadows stricking when appropriate. in the end it came down to a battle of the Dark Night's former sidekick vs. Lantern 2814, and in the end the power ring won this battle

This four way was fierce, as the combatants swiftly became engaged as the worlds around them shifted. right away black adam cautiosly moved through camelot preparing to make a powerful entrance onto the battlfield, while the rogues laid back in the shadows plotting their next move and the dinosaur rumbled to the forefront of the action. the freedom fighters moved up in preparation of meeting the threats freedom faced on this day head on.

Devil dinosaur pounced on black adam, as he, black hand and uncle sam focused their attention on the dire villain, but it was to no avail, he broke free of their clutches taking down the dinosaur in two swift shots along the way. making the mistake of leaving blackhand and uncle sam for later

meanwhile the rest of the freedom fighters moved into position taking shots at Black Hand, but he proved too wiley, letting his associates take the brunt of the attack all the while he was preparing battle plans from the shadows. Black hand moved into position for a damaging shot on black adam, then moving out of the way, while star sapphire started taking apart Uncle Sam, all the while Rat is getting taken apart by lead and tin, until phantom lady came to save the day

in the end the fury of black adam would leak all over the battlefield as star sapphire, trickster and black hand all fell under his vengeful hand, before he was finally taken down by the untouched freedom fighters who went on to end the battle decisively

Since it was just the 3 of us (Skull_one_leader was the judge) we decided to play a 4 way battle Royal the Qunitessence and the Wildcard batman ally, rendered the Gotham city players as mostly observers, while the spectre and the Royal Flush gang very quickly went after Uncle sam and the heralds. Sam got his shots in, but didn't really hit and the savage was hurt too much too soon. while the spectre took his vengeance upon the heralds, the gotham gang and the royal flush gang danced a very cautious dance triyng to find a posiion of strength.

After the heralds were eliminated, and Tim drake had joined his father, it became evident that the two gangs would have to work together, romping around the dawn of man looking for the sould of lois lane, the spectre was forced to drop Dr. Midnite by a separation field generator, which let batman and alfred under their own power and the forced suggestion of king and queen to finish him off. Meanwhile the spectre was busy gulting himself into three critical misses, allowing nightwing and Jack and ten an opportunity to knock him down. eventually the spectre moved off, intent on reoving lois lane's soul from the board, this allowed nightwing to heroically push and end the threat of the ancient ghost.

unfortunately the effort required to take out the spectre was too much for the gotham gang, and they were easy pickings for king queen jack and ten.

Tonight's Event was a giant four way map, on the site of the Attack of Starro, the ever so happy harbor. The monsters and the JSA started opposite of each other and stuck between the teen titans. The Titans from the past moved forward with abandon, Hawk dove and speedy immediately going for the monsters while Kid flash and wondergirl went right for the untransformed Billy Batson all the while robin waited in the shadows coordinating the team. This strategy showed the folly of youth, as Kid flash was unable to touch Captain marvel, who then pasted the hiding robin and slowly began picking off titans with his partner while fighting for positioning with the Hulk. while this was going on the more seasoned titans slowly started to pick away at those tricky tricky monsters, while biding their time to handle the rest of the board. the strategy worked as they were able to remove Basil from the board and red arrow took apart speedy from range. Meanwhile Shazam was opportunistic hitting the Hulk for 8, and letting Sandman finish him off. the remaining titans and a beaten down clayface worked hard to nail the JSA, but while there was some dancing around the harbor, and while sandman took a few knocks in the end the JSA won the fight with barely a scratch

Entropy Vs. PaxZRake

In This climactic battle the titans fought Deathstroke and the HIVE while the Judas contract event dial was in play. The betrayal hurt both teams early on as batgirl, ever so thematically started taking it to her compatriots, meanwhile deathstroke unexpectedly started beating his HIVE trooper companions out of frustration. eventually the lack of a taxi hurt deathstroke more then batgirl's momentary relapse as the titans were able to pick off the hive troopers and stay away from deathstroke, eventually coming out with the win as the titans worked together.

Hero_guy Vs. Kersimus

The metal men vs. the outsiders, a battle of the fringes of the superhero community. In this battle Iron's reliability and strength turned out to be the pillar on which the mental men stood. In this battle of stealth and guile, vs strength and durability, backup plan vs. backup plan the Metal men rose to the occasion, showing that even batman and the outsiders can't stave off too much metal in their water.

Hero Guy Vs. PaxZRake

This time the titans moved on from their natural nemesis to take on the metal men. It was a back and forth battle, with the titans focusing their energies on removing some of the more vulnerable metals, and the more rugged metal men removing their opponents as quickly as possible. in the end the titans won however, as time ran out on gold and iron as they tried to remove the pesky titans

Kersimus Vs. Entropy

A battle of the outsiders vs. Deathstroke, this fight took place almost exclusively in the shadows as Deathstroke and the HIVE slinked their way into position. Meanwhile Batman and Nightwing slowly moved the outsiders into position as they formulated a plan, Deatstroke moved his forces into position, and The outsiders struck first, but it was to no avail, while his Cannon fodder went down deathstroke methodically took out his opponents one at a time. But batman never fails against the same opponent twice...

Round 3

Kersimus Vs. PaxZRake

It was a battle that crossed time and space as the Robin led Teen titans fought batman's outsiders and his future self, Nightwing. This back and forth battle which came down to nightwing vs. the titans was a demonstration that sometimes the good old days really are better.

Hero_guy Vs. Entropy

Deathstrokes final obstacle to world domination was the Metal Men, right out of the gate the metal men brought the heat to the HIVE attacking whenever possible and forcing them to attack at times they didn't want to . But Deathstroke hit the nail right on the head at exactly the right time knocking out Iron in two quick powerful hits, and finishing Gold lead and tin off with a small cadre of HIVE.

PaxZrake walked away with the fallback win, and Kersimus with the fellowship

seeing as it was just the three of us, Entropy, Hero_guy and April and the judge Tyroman, we decided to play a 4 way tonight, much to the chagrin of the spectre since it turned him into a giant target. The game was played on the dawn of man map and what a struggle it was.

Tyroman's team with the aqualads and tempest creating water terrain was a terror, no one could draw line of sight to them and most of them were unoutwittable. Batman and the booster beetle combo made the JLI a force to be reckoned with with dual outwit and perplex, unfortunately only beetle seemed able to hit anyone as they were quickly faced with the wrath of the iron giant. The spectre opened with some cautious moves, maneuvering behind the giant rock at the dawn of man to avoid incessant pot shots, but this prevented him from destroying the Shield disruptor which came back to haunt him, when aqualad picked it up, moved into the bushes and allowed batman to outwit his superstrength bringing it within 4 squares of the spectre, tempest then incapped the spectre and allowed batman to nail him for 3 damage pushing him past his 19 and his damage reducers evening the field. April split her forces using wonder girl and supernova to go after spectres team, and dazzler and the iron giant to fend off the JLI and while dazzler went down hard the iron giant was too much of a challenge.

Tempest was mostly left alone due to his mystics TA no one wanted to handle the retributive damage, and in the end it cost us all, as hero_guys team went down hard except for the spectre taking only a wonder girl and booster gold with him. batman got hit hard by wonder girl, and without booster the JLI lost their outwit, allowing them to be slowly picked off by aqualads and the iron giant leaving only batman against the world.

In the end after failing several breakaway rolls, aqualad finally nailed the spectre with a light object and critical hit finishing him off, and tempest had too many clicks left for the remaining fighters to take out, batman went first, then the iron giant went down.

by victory points, tyroman won due to the spectre KO, but since he was the judge entropy eaked out the win to go home with the fall back card.

In this match it was brains vs. Raw power, and this time brains gave in to brawn. Ion being immune to outwit, proved the undoing of robin, flash and psimon. Green arrow and kamandi went down, but the power of ion reigned supreme.

Entropy Vs. Thrumblefunk
Mordru the dark lord brought his wrath to the battlfield to face the collection of villains and heroes assembled to challenge him. This group spent the battle using every means at their disposal to incapacitate mordru so as not to incur his dark wrath. they fought valiantly to then end locking down mordru throughout the battle, but in the end mordru smite his foes.

April Vs. PaxZrake
Once again the power of ion prevails as only kamandi falls to the might of mammoth supernova and wondergirl.

Thrumble Funk Vs. Skull_One _Leader

This time the match up was power vs. intelligence on a more even scale, and it was a back and forth fight, with the villains taking out the flash, but his sacrifice was not in vain as psimon and robin pulled out the victory over the forces of evil.

Entropy Vs. Hero_Guy

Mordru moved cautiously delicately planning his moves to take out the titans on the field of battle Kid flash wnet down early, and Speedy soon followed. It became a mad dash of positioning, and Mordru rising to great heights and towering over the battlefield until he finally succumbed to the combined assaults of the teen titans.

This was a back and forth battle as both teams pounded each other until finally thrumble funk pulled out the victory

Once Again the power of ion was too much, the titans just couldn't get him off the first click, green arrow fell, but ion stood strong above the battlfield

The ultimate debate, who is the better green lantern? Hal or Kyle? it is a debate that may have no merit, and may have no answer, but in this battle kyle was faced with plenty of bad luck, couldn't hit the side of a barn, and in this isntance Hal showed his supremecy as the greatest ring slinger there is, the brightest light in the universe.

Darkseid is unstoppable, even critical hits from the titans at the most unexpected times and darksied will not fall. Darkseid is unstoppable.

This round the ultimates were unable to quell the chiutari invasion, even with the help of the ultimate weapon, Dr. Banner thrown out of a helicopter. the skrulls struck first, needing all of their planning to nail iron man off the bat, the ultimates moved in. hulk started putting the hurt on the skrulls, and then failed an extremely important break away and was quickly whittled down to nothing, and then captain America failed his break away too, ending the threat of the ultimates and the skrulls slowly picked them off

Hero_guy Vs. Joe in the destroyed streets of New York
in this battle the rag tag government team of the suicide squad was unable to quell the superb precision of Americas premier super soldier team. even after a few misunderstandings about the opponents capabilities they were able to end this particular threat to america's security

Entropy Vs. Dave in the remains of the Xmen mansion

in this battle, the ultimates moved up and took a strategic position behind the many broken walls of the mansion. The Xmen moved up slowly trying to position themselves for a strike, but the ultimates training proved to be their undoing as they used their positioning to create favorable match ups and wear magneto and professor x down slowly.

This time the ultimates fared batter against the invaders from the stars, taking out the vast majority of their army. but the losses were too great, and the super skrull and war skrulls were still left standing facing off against nick fury, the falcon and quicksilver as time expired giving the chuitari their victory and our planet

Dave Vs. PaxZrake on the WWII tank map

This time the Xmen maneuvered themselves a little better, and mimic was able to position himsefl to smackdown against eh superskrulls, while magneto took on the skrull army and the super skrull. unfortunately this time the slow methodical attacks fo the skrulls wore down the Xmen leaving them victorious against the Earth

The suicide squad moved slowly into the center of the station,as the ultimate hulk moved into position around the towers inside the depression. the squad made their move with bronze tiger and enchantress coming over to take on the hulk while deadshot and captain cold maneuvered around the edges to flank the ultimates. Fortunately iron man was able to sneak in late and nail the bronze tiger, and quicksilver was able to finish him off, leaving hulk to work over the enchantress and vixen. eventually captain boomerang moved in to help end the hulk's time with us, but the remaining ultimates were able to start working over the suicide squad winning when the day ended.

Planet Hulk! a day of heroclix

February 9th was the boston area all day planet hulk event. Each tournament was 50% floor and each participant was vying for the Planet Hulk Event dial!

In this match Green scar had to handle the sick combination of Fabian's enhancement power and Devil Dino's damage reduction, but repulsor shield neutralized Esme's effectiveness. it was a taught battle, as every hit placed devil dinosaur in a place to attack the green scar twice and hurt him badly, but in the end green scar stood tall and angry and smashed all in his way

Hero_Guy Vs. Skull one Leader
Ahab, and superman robot's ability to see through stealth made this a match of hulk versus the robots and the hulk with what help he could get from the batmen pulled it out smashing the robots to metal bits.

Batman positioned to attack the green scar as the rampaging hulk placed himself in a position to get first strike. Green scar went after batman but the wily human dodged. The batmen were unable to whittle Hulk down, however, and he went to town on his counterpart, then finished off the wounded Batman.

Thrumblefunk Vs. Hero_Guy
Fresh off the lessons learned in being beaten by the hulk, this match of robot on robot action was handled by hero_guy, the mobility of the superman robot was too much for the counterpart Ahab's to handle well and the action went the way of hero_guy

Green scar was undone in the battle by a seruptitiously placed shield disruptor with the increased mobility of the superman robot and the inability of Green Scar to reduce any damage the battle went south fast and the Green Scar was put down

Thrumblefunk versus April
In this match the Mobility of the Ahabs and their ability to bypass the Dino's reducers, coupled with Danger's ability to nullify the ability of the giant's compatriots to steer the outcome of the battle into an automated win for the robots.

In a back and forth pitched battle, Arcade's murderbots destroyed the robot Danger, but Shazam was able to whip around the map creating issues. The Hulk was eventally able to track him down and alleviate his anger upon the magical boy.

In this battle the Hulkbuster was unable to bust the magical abilities of Shazam, and he and his avengers compatriots fell to the might of magic and technology combined

Hero_guy Vs. Entropy
In a battle field littered with Debris Cassandra Nova moved throughout the area eating the objects with her nanobots, but this left her and her pushed taxi in range for hulk to destroy the scarlet witch, while damage went toe to toe against E Multiple Man. Arcade and firebrand were victimizing each other at Cassie's whim, while the Hulk flailed away repeatedly hitting nothing. Cassie and her compatriots win the battle and showed that a good mind is hard to waste.

Apocalypse, not having a good day, once more fell under the onslaught of heroes as the Avengers brought him and his eugenic philosophy to the ground.

Hero_Guy Vs. Thrumblefunk
Cassandra Nova used her ruthless machinations, to manipulate her mutant compatriots to destroy Danger and her minion the champion Shazam, securing her victory.

Hero_guy again walks away with the prize.

6:30 PM The final Planet hulk match of the day at Pandemonim Books and Games in Central Square. Thrumble funk called it a day and went home after recieving fellowship at Magic Dragon comics so that left

Entropy Vs. Tyroman

This match put the teens into a rough place, with no ability upfront to create first strike, Jakeem pushed himself to help bring the cuckoos into place. After a few failed breakaways, bishop moved himself into position to energy explode the group. Without the ability to defend his compatriots it became a matter of time before the cuckoos went down, but Jakeem stood till the end finally removing storm and iceman from the game. In a tight battle jakeem comes out on top.

April Vs. Hero_guy

This was a tight match with the avengers whooping up on the monsters, but perseverance ruled the day and the monsters destroyed the team hoping to end their evil reign.

Entropy Vs. Hero_guy
Once again a battle of wills to determine the winner, this time the monsters brought their rampage to the teens inside the prison. with a forcefield disruptor in place and a laser turret the teens were able to force the Hulks hand, and to take some of the spark out of Zzzax early. with Zzzax hurting the Hulk was left alone to destroy the group of teens, but with mind control, and the ability to help each other slowly but surely the monsters were wiped out bringing home the trophy for Entropy.
