Crisis week 1 Sealed Saturday!

Saturday March 1st was the first week of crisis events and it started with a bang with a sealed event at Hobby Bunker in Malden MA. No Chase figures were pulled but plenty of superrares and some excellent teams all around the players and their sealed teams were..

Hero_Guy Vs. April
The titans came into this round ready to take on mammoth and supernova in this match but Nightwing's valiant leaership proved costly as he went down hard while leading the charge, but he did enough on the way down to seal the victory for the titans.

Skull_one_Leader Vs. PaxZrake
In this match it was brains vs. Raw power, and this time brains gave in to brawn. Ion being immune to outwit, proved the undoing of robin, flash and psimon. Green arrow and kamandi went down, but the power of ion reigned supreme.

Entropy Vs. Thrumblefunk
Mordru the dark lord brought his wrath to the battlfield to face the collection of villains and heroes assembled to challenge him. This group spent the battle using every means at their disposal to incapacitate mordru so as not to incur his dark wrath. they fought valiantly to then end locking down mordru throughout the battle, but in the end mordru smite his foes.

Round 2

April Vs. PaxZrake
Once again the power of ion prevails as only kamandi falls to the might of mammoth supernova and wondergirl.

Thrumble Funk Vs. Skull_One _Leader

This time the match up was power vs. intelligence on a more even scale, and it was a back and forth fight, with the villains taking out the flash, but his sacrifice was not in vain as psimon and robin pulled out the victory over the forces of evil.

Entropy Vs. Hero_Guy

Mordru moved cautiously delicately planning his moves to take out the titans on the field of battle Kid flash wnet down early, and Speedy soon followed. It became a mad dash of positioning, and Mordru rising to great heights and towering over the battlefield until he finally succumbed to the combined assaults of the teen titans.

Round 3

Entropy Vs. Skull_One_Leader

Mordru fell hard and fast to the brilliant strategy of psimon, flash and robin.

This was a back and forth battle as both teams pounded each other until finally thrumble funk pulled out the victory

PAxZrake Vs. Hero_Guy
Once Again the power of ion was too much, the titans just couldn't get him off the first click, green arrow fell, but ion stood strong above the battlfield

Thus PaxZrake won the day and the giant stride feat and Entropy walked away with fellowship

The Truope had some lunch and then moved onto Magic Dragon Comics in Arlington for a second sealed match, once again no Chase figures pulled but some duplicate boosters, a duplicate case and a fair number of super rares. The Players and the teams assembled were:

Thrumblefunk Vs. Entropy

The ultimate debate, who is the better green lantern? Hal or Kyle? it is a debate that may have no merit, and may have no answer, but in this battle kyle was faced with plenty of bad luck, couldn't hit the side of a barn, and in this isntance Hal showed his supremecy as the greatest ring slinger there is, the brightest light in the universe.

Skull_One_Leader vs. Martin

Darkseid is unstoppable, even critical hits from the titans at the most unexpected times and darksied will not fall. Darkseid is unstoppable.

Round 2

Entropy Vs. Martin

Hal and his team maneuvered into position, they executed thier plan well and took shot after shot at darkseid. Darksied is unstoppable, and simply shrugged off this teams best efforts

Thrumblefunk Vs. Hero_Guy

The power of ion seems to always prevail. Even the best laid plans and manipulations of the cheif can not put down the power of ion.

Hero_guy Vs. skull_One_Leader

This match came down to the unlikliest of outcomes, blue beetle shotting down booster gold in his guise of supernova, whoever thought that the battle for the universe would come down to these best friends going at each other.

ThrumbleFunk Vs. Martin

The power of ion, Vs. the Power of Darksied something must give. and it is not darksied, Darksied is untoppable and even the immense power of ion falls underneath his powerful heel.

Martin walks away with the prize, and Hero_Guy with the fellowship prize
